Timeslips eCenter –> Timeslips Go!
Those of you who have the latest version of Timeslips Premium know that your subscription comes with a bonus: Timeslips eCenter. This is an app that Timeslips Premium customers use in conjunction with Premium to track time and expenses anytime, anywhere away from the office, using any device that can connect with the internet. Now, Sage Timeslips is pleased to announce that eCenter will be replaced with a new app called Timeslips Go.
Q: Wait – what is eCenter again?
A: Timeslips eCenter has been around for many years. It is a cloud-based application that thousands of Sage Timeslips Premium customers use in conjunction with Premium to track time and expenses outside of their program.
Q: Is Timeslips Go replacing my Timeslips program?
A: NO – Timeslips Go will replace eCenter and work with your Timeslips Premium program.
Q: When will this happen?
A: Your office will be notified when it will be time to switch your eCenter users to Timeslips Go. The person serving as your Sage Timeslips contact will receive an email notifying them of the change. That email will be sent at the beginning of the month of your annual renewal. Your office will need to switch to Timeslips Go within 90 days after your annual renewal date or you will lose access to your eCenter accounts.
Q. Is it different from eCenter?
A: You’ll find similarities in the way you enter time. However, there are also some new features –
- Timeslips eCenter removed users’ data when it was sent to the Timeslips program. Now Timeslips Go users can keep their recorded data in their accounts. It will no longer be removed when data is sent to their Timeslips Premium program.
- Because users can now keep their data, there are reports they can run in Timeslips Go to review their time (and optionally expenses) and gain insights from their data.
- Besides an individual slip entry window there are now an updated Day View and Timesheet View.
- Timeslips Go administrators now have an enhanced dashboard within Timeslips Premium to make synchronization of names and importing data easier.
Q: This is good news and could really help us track our time. How do I get licenses?
A: Good news! If you have Timeslips Premium Standard, your subscription includes one license. If you have Timeslips Premium Pro, your subscription already includes two licenses. If you have Timeslips Premium Elite, your subscription already includes three licenses. If you want more, they can be purchased at a cost of $37.00 per person, per month; or $422.00 per person annually.
Q: What’s involved with switching our eCenter users to Timeslips Go?
A: While Sage Timeslips issued a video, we’ve found the switch is easier when you receive one-on-one assistance. Reach out to your Timeslips consultant who can guide you through the planning and migration process. If you do not have a consultant, call us at 202-466-3740.
